Connecting the shops and the merchandise system behind one contact record.
Several shops in several countries, and no shared view of a customer.
Grube has sold products for forestry, hunting and outdoor use for more than 70 years, has over 10,000 tools and pieces of equipment in its range and turns over 180 million euros a year and is successful in 10 European countries. It runs several online shops across them, and with several shops the difficulty is coordinating marketing activities and measuring what they do.
The shops also produced many one-time buyers — people who ordered once and did not come back. Grube wanted them won as existing customers with content that suited them, and the marketing processes streamlined while that happened.

The data had to be one thing before the marketing could be.
The requirement came before the tool: whatever platform was chosen had to connect to the online shop and the merchandise management system, so the data stayed consistent across channels instead of sitting in a tool beside them.
Those interfaces are the foundation. Extensive connections to the shop and the merchandise management system feed one contact database, so a customer is one record whichever channel produced the signal.
On top of that the measures: segmentation from user behaviour, targeted automated campaigns, regular newsletters, and dashboards for evaluation and ROI so that what marketing achieved could be measured.
Requirements before tool
What the platform had to connect to decided the evaluation, which ended at SALESmanago.
Recommendations that follow
Regular newsletters carry personalised content and dynamic product recommendations.
The basket that stops
An abandoned shopping cart gets its own automated campaign.
Leaner processes
Streamlining the marketing processes was a goal in itself: less time, fewer resources.
Extended step by step
The measures were expanded gradually, with regular coordination, monitoring and adjustment.
The channels stopped describing different customers.
Interfaces to the online shop and the merchandise management system, so every channel reads the same data
Consistent data in one contact database, usable across channels. This is the engineering the rest of the project stands on.
Segmentation from user behaviour, so a newsletter stops being one newsletter
User behaviour decides the segment, and user identification in real time recognises a returning visitor while the visit is still happening.
Automated campaigns for new contacts, so a first order can become a second
The many one-time buyers in the shop were the reason: campaigns address new contacts with content that fits, instead of waiting for them to come back by themselves.
Dashboards for evaluation and ROI, so campaigns across several shops can be compared
One place to see what a campaign did, which is what coordinating several shops in several countries requires.
One contact database now stands behind the shops.
At the end Grube had one contact database fed by interfaces to the online shop and the merchandise management system, with consistent data usable across channels. Segmentation from user behaviour, regular newsletters with personalised content and dynamic product recommendations, automated campaigns for new contacts and shopping cart abandoners, and dashboards for evaluation and ROI all read from it.
The click-to-open rate rose by 32 %. A group that has sold forestry, hunting and outdoor equipment for more than 70 years, in 10 European countries, can now work from one consistent customer record across its channels.
The Agentic Growth Stack in four phases.
Four phases that build on each other. Each one ends in something usable rather than a presentation — a roadmap you can budget, a platform in production, an operation the team carries, and agents working inside the process.

Operate
We embed operations, adoption and security in everyday work, so the platform is carried by the team after the rollout.
